She appeared in two episodes of Showtime's Weeds which starred Mary Louise Parker. The actress is known for playing Judy Kramer on Fox's 2005 Point Pleasant series and Marcy in Dawson's Creek. For three years she was Marina Cooper in the soap opera Guiding Light a role which was rewarded with a Soap Opera Digest Awards nomination in 2003, for Outstanding Newcomer. Dollar was a part of ABC's Women's Murder Club as Cindy Thomas between 2007 and in 2008. Dollar starred as Happy Valley, a pilot for NBC in 2012. The show was never renewed.
