Malin Maria Akerman a Swedish model as well as a singer and actor who was born in Stockholm, Swe Malin Akermanden, on May 12, 1978. She was raised in Ontario Canada. Akerman has gained fame for her appearance in Watchmen's Laurie Jupiter/Silk Spectre 2, in which she played Laurie Jupiter. Akerman has also appeared as Lara Axelrod in the infamous TV show Billions. She is noted for showing the naked parts in the films Deplorability Youngster and Guardians. Akerman initially began her career as modeling before turning to acting. Her acting career has seen her to a myriad of television and film projects. Her most memorable roles include Silk Spectre II, in the remake of Watchmen for the screen as well as Lara Axelrod, in the television series Billions.
